When I was a kid growing up I was blessed to have a grandmother who made the best food you could imagine–all from scratch. Many of the ingredients came from my grandfather’s magnificent vegetable garden. Whenever I visited them, my grandmother would always make an irresistible dish with her oven-baked bread, fresh vegetables from the garden, and spices from the old country (Greece). It always smelled so good walking into her kitchen. I can still smell all of the delightful aromas.

Over time, my grandmother taught me some of her most cherished recipes. So it is my turn to share her secrets with you: her incredible pizza crust, her famous pizza sauce, fresh made pastas, savory vegetables from the garden, and all of the finest ingredients that I can find–to make only the best meal entrées and pizzas that would make my Grandmother “Aliki" very proud.
